Hopefully you all have had a great week, isn’t it just so nice to not have to worry about the open workouts on a Friday 🙂
Anyway before you party hard this weekend, make sure you get some fitness in today. And while your add it listen to the podcast below. One thing that no one can change is time, regardless of how old you now are, next year you’ll be 1 year older (maybe wiser too??).
We need to remember that this whole fitness thing is all about staying healthy for as long as possible and avoiding the nursing home. To some of you, this may not be the goal in mind and that is okay, but one day it will be. You’ll want to just be strong enough to be a 70yr old you can walk on their hands and take groceries in the house, even if it’s 20 bags worth.
So at some point, you need to figure out how you can keep the strength you have, but also stay healthy and avoid injuries, that is what we call the sweet spot. Enjoy your weekend!
