Jill Spencer has been CrossFitting since January 2009. She loves the general health and strength that CrossFit has brought to her life and is passionate about teaching fitness and health to her classes. She emphasizes to her athletes being fit and healthy is more than how small ones waistline is.
Jill received her level 1 certification November 1, 2009. Since that time she has earned specialty certificates which include Olympic lifting, Rowing, and CrossFit Kids. Previous to coaching CrossFit she was a gymnast and then coached gymnastics for 6 years.
Seeing strong people lift heavy things can be impressive. However, nothing touches Jill more than seeing her athletes make amazing improvements. Whether that is someone completing their first mile run when they struggled running only 200 meters just months earlier or battle through a difficulty with air squats to accomplishing squats with a weighted bar, in only 3 weeks.
Whether this is your first time exercising in years, an experienced athlete, a retiree, or 5 years old; Jill is ready to help those who are ready to help themselves attain a higher level of functional fitness!
