I grew up in Utah, mostly in Roy. I have 3 brothers and a sister. I got married in 2009, and we had our first child in 2011, with the second almost exactly 2 years later. I love anything outdoors- hiking, backpacking, camping, and water sports in the summer and snowboarding is my winter go to outdoor activity.
I’m working on my Bachelor of Integrated Studies at Weber State University, minoring in Nutrition, Chemistry, and Health Promotion in hopes of getting accepted to the University of Utah’s Master’s in Dietetics. I’m also a full-time Air National Guard member.
Some of my personal athletic goals are to competitively lift at 2 USA Weightlifting sanctioned meets a year, and to get my 5k run time under 20 minutes. I also intend on registering for the CrossFit Open every year for many years to come. I love helping people figure out how to do things they never thought possible through a mutual trust in order instill confidence and strength that they can find in every aspect of a happy, healthy lifestyle. I’ve been doing CrossFit for almost 3 years, have been a CrossFit Level 1 trainer since 2012, and have been a USA Weightlifting Level 1 Certified Sports and Performance Coach since August 2013.
