Doug & Jolene were referred to Wasatch CrossFit by another couple, Travis and Monika

Statistically speaking couples that CrossFit together are 185,000% more likely to stay together according to a statistic I just made up from Harvard.  They are 2,199,000% more likely to have better “relations” more frequently and 3.5 billion percent less likely to have nothing to talk about at the dinner table.  Trust me.  I am not a statistician without a Phd in some high level math stuff plus  not being licensed in family counseling.

All kidding aside, every year I get at least one email from someone telling me that doing CrossFit together saved their marriage.  And told all the time how doing CrossFit together has improved their relationship and self-esteem.  In my marriage it’s been a huge way for us to relate in a positive way, stay engaged with what’s going on in the other persons life, and the legendary “CrossFit Booty” has had a bigger positive contribution than the “long-term effects of gravity” booty that I often see in my age group.

With that in mind, this week is Couples share the pain week!   Any WCF member’s spouse is welcome to attend classes for free.  Our preference is that they come to our Boot Camp classes (Mon/Wed 9am, Tues/Thurs 6:30pm) or that they come with you to class.  If that doesn’t work then it’s ok, our outstanding coaches will still take great care of them.

We’re also opening registration for our (almost free) Back to School Boot Camp in the Park.  We’ll have a 2 locations this year, one in Layton and one in Centerville.  The Boot Camp starts next week, check Facebook for details on Tuesday.
