CrossFit for Beginners

WHAT WE OFFER

Our 3 step process to get people started with Crossfit is different for a reason.  We were the first CrossFit facility in Utah and the 120th worldwide out of over 10,000.  What we’ve learned in nearly a decade of training people is that the best way to help people achieve their goals is start out 1 on 1 or in very small groups working on the fundamentals for at least 8 sessions and often more.  3 or 4 sessions or “just come try out a class” doesn’t work, it’s just easier for the Crossfit’s who throw people in the mix but worse for you.  Once you’ve started in a small group class with other beginners you’ll graduate to CrossFit when you’re ready and then to CrossFit classes.  Here’s what we offer:

Personal Training - Most clients begin with personal training for a series of 8 sessions.  This is where you will work with your trainer to build your general fitness base and gain familiarity with our movements.  Our average trainer is a former collegiate athlete with an Exercise Science degree.  We have trainers who specialize in working with Mom’s trying to lose babyweight, competitive athletes, and everyday people who want to get in the best shape of their life but who realize that getting thrown in to a big Crossfit class from day 1 isn’t the best way to start out.  Here’s what you can expect:

• weight loss and improved body composition
• extra accountability
• going from the shape of “round” to looking and feeling great
• learning the skills you need to thrive in CrossFit and how to eat to win!

Your trainer will tailor workouts specifically for your current fitness level and progress you at the proper pace for you.  Following your initial 8 sessions you may then choose to continue with private training or progress into our CrossFit Unloaded group class.

Crossfit Unloaded – At Wasatch Crossfit our CrossFit Unloaded class is how you start off on the right path to reach your goals. Coached by a Crossfit certified trainer and delivered in small group sessions no larger than 4-8 athletes, it’s designed to get you to your first class with the knowledge you need to be successful.  At CrossFit Unloaded you’ll get personalized coaching, you’ll make new friends, and most importantly you’ll ease in to CrossFit in a way that’s designed for long term results.  At Wasatch CrossFit we’re famous for the way we welcome new people – it doesn’t matter how in shape you are or aren’t you’re going to be welcomed into our community.

Crossfit  - We don’t want to brag but we’re by far the best in Davis County and arguably the state of Utah.  Our head coach was an athlete on the 2x World Champion affiliate cup team and our owner has coached multiple athletes in the CrossFit Games.  They’re backed up by coach’s with an average of 4 to 5 years of CrossFit coaching experience – that’s longer than most of our competitors have been in business!  We’ve worked with more beginners, Mom’s, athletes, and everything in between than any other gym in the state.  If you’re serious about taking your fitness to the next level we’re the best choice.  Not the cheapest, just the highest quality.  You can check out our facility, coaching, and experience the intensity Crossfit is famous for while being coached every step of the way.  Schedule it by texting our owner, Damon Stewart, at 801-643-1504.
