Dean gets after it
If you’re like me you spend some time planning your days, weeks, and months. Set some big picture goals then figure out the daily tasks that roll up to that big picture. Every day I work from a to-do list. Which is why when I heard the idea of having a “not to-do” list it made so much sense to me. Here are some of the things I put on my not to-do list: Skip stretching after training. Drink 2 cups of coffee followed by 3 shots of espresso every morning. Leave squats till after I lift. Plus some spiritual and life not to do’s. Who we are is built on our habits and what we omit is just as important as what we do. Tomorrow when you’re doing your daily task list put a couple not to-do’s in that you know sabotage the progress you’re making or hold you back from your true potential. It’s like Nike in reverse: Don’t Do It!
