We’ve now passed the halfway mark on the Whole30!  If you haven’t quit by not you’re not going to.  This week’s challenge is the hardest of them all for most people:  Get 8 hours a sleep per night or accumulate 8 hours including napping.  Why does it matter?  Here’s a quick excerpt from an article discussing mild sleep deprivation and weight gain:

“One of the more interesting ideas that has been smoldering and is now gaining momentum is the appreciation of the fact that sleep and sleep disruption do remarkable things to the body — including possibly influencing our weight,” says David Rapoport, MD, associate professor and director of the Sleep Medicine Program at the New York University School of Medicine in New York City.  Click here to read the full article:  http://www.webmd.com/diet/features/lose-weight-while-sleeping
